Auto Collision Repair I & II
A comprehensive 2-year program designed to provide students with skills and hands-on instruction in the auto body industry. Major emphasis focuses on learning filling and sanding; welding, cutting, and repairs of metal surfaces; repair and replacement of auto body parts; shop safety, and trade ethics. Students learn:
- Specific employment and industry skills
- Alignment
- Welding
- Fiberglass repair
The Auto Body/Fender Repair program consists of a combination of classroom and shop experience. Eligible students are encouraged to participate in community classroom and/or cooperative vocational education.
Students may take Auto Painting as a second year to provide a comprehensive occupational training program.
