Auto Technology
 

Automotive Technology provides students with an overall view of the industrial processes used in the construction of today’s modern automobiles and a basic understanding of:

  • Operation, care, and repair
  • Components of the car
  • Automobile design, power train, wheels and tires, and brakes
  • General car care and maintenance

Automotive Technology II This Nationally Accredited Program provides extensive instruction andhands-on training in the automotive industry (Meets NATEF & ASEstandards). Community classroom placement, advanced topics and
projects in automotive repair.
 

Term: 
2 semesters / 2 term
August to June
Advanced 2nd year available

Graduation Credits:
Meets 3rd year Math academic requirement for San Lorenzo Unified School District

Eligibility:
High School juniors, seniors, and adults

State Department of Education Recognized Model Program

Requirement:
Adults must attend a R.O.P. orientation prior to registration

Hours:
3 hours (daily)
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
