Construction Technology
 

The Construction Technology program provides students with skills in:

Course Emphasis: 

  • Project planning, layout 
  • Safety, power tools 
  • New and remodeling construction
  • Blueprint reading, and design skills

Construction Technology II offers advanced topics. Students acquire proficiencies in shop management, team leadership and business practices. Articulated with the Carpenters Union Apprenticeship program.
 

Term:
2 semesters / 2 term
August to June
Advanced 2nd year available

Graduation Credits:
Meets 3rd year Math academic requirement for San Lorenzo Unified School District

Eligibility:
High School juniors, seniors, and adults

Requirement:
Adults must attend a R.O.P. orientation prior to registration

Hours:
3 hours (daily)
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

$100 Lab Fee
Recommended purchase of personal nail bags and tools
