Retail Floral Designs
 

The Retail Floral Design program provides students with a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and experience in the floral industry. Students develop overlapping skills that can be applied to careers in interior design, visual merchandising and commercial art. Students will be able to:

  • Prepare and design techniques of floral arrangements
  • Create shop displays
  • Do effective merchandising
  • Store management, supply ordering,sales procedures and customer service
 

Term: 
2 semesters / 2 term
August to June
Advanced 2nd year available

Graduation Credits:
Meets the Fine Art credit for San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School Districts

Eligibility:
High School juniors, seniors, and adults

Requirement:
Adults must attend a R.O.P. orientation prior to registration. Call (510) 293-2920 or send an e-mail to: Cathy Thoni for additional information.

Hours:
3 hours (daily)
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
