Advance College Credits:
This course participates in an articulation with Chabot College

Explore sound, graphics, animation, and video as they emerge in CD Rom and web-based technologies.  Students will build a multimedia portfolio while learning design tools and techniques in Dreamweaver, Flash, Director, Photoshop, and Premiere.  Web, Graphics and digital Design are one of the fastest growing industries.  This course utilizes computers to introduce students to the dynamic field of 3-D graphics design. Students learn to use computers to produce illustrations and manipulate images to achieve a desired look and purpose.

  • Desktop productions & color theory
  • Principles and elements of design
  • Image and image manipulation
  • Career preparation
  • Computer imaging and presentation techniques
 

Term: 
2 semesters / 2 term
August to June

Graduation Credits:
Approved for UC "g" entrance requirement

Meets the Fine Art credit for San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School District

Eligibility:
High School juniors, seniors, and adults

Requirement:
Adults must attend a R.O.P. orientation prior to registration.

Hours:
3 hours (daily)
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
