Welding & Metal Fabrications
 

The Welding & Metal Fabrications Technology program offers extensive training on the following:

  • Welding Terminology, Metallurgy, and Blueprint reading
  • Safe Shop Practices
  • Metal Fabrication and Tool use
  • SMAW, GMAW, TIG, and Oxy-Acetylene Welding
  • Plasma Arc and Oxy-Acetylene Cutting Techniques
  • Hands-on experience to reinforce instruction offers advanced topics.

Welding & Metal Fabrications Technology II offers advanced topics. Students acquire proficiencies in shop management, team leadership and business practices.
 

Term: 
2 semesters / 2 term
August to June
Advanced 2nd year available

Graduation Credits:
Meets 3rd year Math academic requirement for San Lorenzo Unified School District

Eligibility:
High School juniors, seniors, and adults

Requirement:
Adults must attend a R.O.P. orientation prior to registration.

Hours:
3 hours (daily)
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
